Grad Projects & Volunteers

In addition, we are interested in working with any students who would like to do an Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation event as their Graduation Project.  A list of project opportunities can be found by clicking here.  If you have a creative idea that is in line with our mission, please describe it for us on a Graduation Project Proposal form and email it to Karen Hicks at Karen@AndrewLHicksJrFoundation.org.

All volunteers who will be 18 years old prior to 9/1/13 or who are already 18 years old are required to submit a Criminal Background Check as well as a PA Child Abuse Clearance.  In addition, his or her name will be run through the Megan’s Law National Sexual Offenders Database.

Each of these reports will cost $10.  The Criminal Background Check report can be printed immediately.  The Child Abuse Clearance form must be printed and mailed in.  A written report will be mailed back to you within 6-8 weeks.  Please keep the original for yourself and turn in a copy with your SSN blacked out.  All HHS Warrior Guides should turn the reports in to Mr. Andy Grear in the Counseling Office at Henderson High School.  Any other volunteer can mail their report to Karen Hicks at 914 Kenmara Drive, West Chester, PA  19380.
