On August 29, 2010 the band, Zarepath, put on a Summer Concert at Desire of My Heart Farm in Coatesville, to benefit the Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation.  Band members Meg Reno, Adam and Seth Udinsky and Josh Evans are all friends of Andrew’s from youth group at Christ Community Church.  The benefit concert was their idea but Sharon and Gregg Reno organized it and made it happen.  They enlisted the help of other bands such as Dan and Lauren Smith with Nate Graham, the Brothers Saddic and Nicole Zell.

The evening was absolutely spectacular.  Desire of My Heart Farm proved to be a gorgeous venue with the farm house in the foreground, the barn and animals in the background and the backdrop of beautiful Chester County fields around us.  The temperature that night allowed for everyone to picnic in shorts and tshirts as we enjoyed a majestic sunset accompanied by beautiful music by the original singer/songwriters.

The Summer Benefit Concert was a very successful fundraiser for the Foundation.  In addition to the $5 cost of admission, food and drinks were sold and Olive Tree Clothing, a private Christian clothing line, donated a percentage of their sales to the cause as well.  Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time.  The Andrew L. Hicks, Jr. Foundation sincerely thanks the Renos for their hospitality and hard work, the different bands that came out that night to entertain, and the many guests who came to support the work of the Foundation.
