RISE Students Attend RYLA Conference

4 RISE students earned scholarships to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Conference this weekend at Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge. Congratulations to Steven Slowe, Ciazsa Davis, Ashanti Martinez-Gamble and Tamai Brown!

RYLA is a leadership development program run by RYLA District 7450. The kids began the weekend bagging 7,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief organization. They’ll participate in all kinds of service and leadership workshops through Sunday, and listen to several guest speakers including Jay Scott, the father of Alex Scott, Founder of Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
